We have been members of the Manufacturing Technologies Assocation since 2008, and have enjoyed the support they offer to the manufacturing industry ever since.

As the organisers of the MACH exhibition, the MTA stand at the forefront of manufacturing in the United Kingdom, and help British Companies reach the rest of the world not only through publicity and exhibitions, but by the active role they take in lobbying government for positive change in the industry.

CTMT joined the Chamber of Commerce in 2011 to gain more involvement in local issues which affect businesses across different industries within the local area.

The main aim was for the Company to gain more influence in training and apprenticeships for young people interested in pursuing careers in engineering. This has proven to be a great success, as in partnership with the local branch of South Staffordshire College, we have been able to resurrect a strong apprenticeship programme, which had not been run by the Company for a number of years.

Through training young engineers in the macnufacture of machine tools, we not only hope that the Company will benefit, but that we are doing our part to help the industry as a whole.
